SunSet TL online store customer register.
Purpose of the processing of personal data:
Personal data is processed for the maintenance and management of customer
relationships in our e-commerce customers, such as the contacts and direct marketing
required by the customer relationship. The customer has the right to prohibit the use of
personal data for direct marketing.
Information content of the register:
The following information is stored in the register: Customer’s first and last name,
customer number, address information, telephone number, gender, e-mail, web address,
language, information on marketing permits and prohibitions, information on customer
purchases, deliveries and discounts, and possible usernames and passwords.
Regular sources of information:
From the customer self for e-commerce orders, via return and other forms, by phone, e-
mail or other similar means.
Regular disclosures:
The information is used only for customer relations and is not regularly passed on to third
parties. However, the information may be disclosed in connection with activities related to
the technical management of e-commerce (eg server or e-commerce platform
management), the delivery of orders, the collection of unpaid invoices, and the authorities
if required and permitted by law.
Data transfer outside the EU or the European Economic Area:
Data will not be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
Data storage and destruction:
Customer register information is retained for the duration of the customer relationship.
However, order, billing and payment information is retained in the same way as other
accounting material. Data that has become redundant will be disposed of securely.
Use of cookies:
We may use cookies (so-called cookies) to monitor visitor traffic and improve the quality of
service, which are stored on the user’s computer. Cookies are limited in time and do not
harm the user’s computer.
Registry security principles:
The customer register is treated confidentially. The registry is adequately protected from
outsiders by firewalls and other technical protections. The register shall be kept in
electronic form only and random paper prints shall be destroyed immediately and properly.
The register shall be used only by persons whose job description includes its use and who
are bound by professional secrecy. Each user in the register has a personal username and
password.
Right of inspection:
In accordance with the Personal Data Act, everyone has the right to check what
information about him or her has been stored in the personal register. A request for
inspection must be sent in a hand-signed or equivalent certified document or presented in
person at our office. Requests should be sent to the above-mentioned contact person, who
will also respond to any requests for additional information.
Updating information:
The customer can update their name and address information in their e-commerce profile.
In addition, the customer may contact our above-mentioned contact person to update their
information.
Other rights related to the processing of personal data:
The customer has the right to refuse the processing of his data for marketing purposes. A
request for a data processing restriction must be submitted by e-mail to the contact person
of the register.
